Terms and Conditions of Participation
Train with Alex Greenwood Competition
1. Organizer
1.1 The competition (“Competition”) is organized by snuggswear s.r.o. with its registered office at Běhounská 5/18, Brno-město, 602 00 Brno, ID No. 08238740, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Brno under C 114618 (Snuggs) (hereinafter the “Organizer”).
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Competition is open to applicants of all football experience levels.
2.2 Employees of the Organizer, Manchester City Football Club Limited, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate family members of such employees are not eligible to enter.
2.3 The Organizer reserves the right to prioritize applicants who identify as female, in alignment with the Organizer’s brand focus and the women’s football initiative.
3. Entry
3.1 To enter, participants must complete the official entry form on the Organizer’s website snuggs.com/alex.
3.2 Entries must contain truthful and complete information as requested.
3.3 Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
3.4 Entries received after the Entry Period will not be considered.
4. Prize
4.1 The prize consists of participation in an exclusive football training session with Alex Greenwood at the Manchester City training campus in Manchester, United Kingdom (the “Event”).
4.2 The Event will include football activities, Q&A, photos, and related experiences, as further determined by the Organizer.
4.3 A total of twenty (20) winners will be selected to attend the Event.
4.4 The prize is personal, non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.
4.5 Travel, accommodation, and any other expenses not expressly stated as part of the prize shall be borne by the winners.
5. Winner Selection
5.1 Following the Entry Period, the Organizer will compile a pool of relevant applicants who demonstrate a genuine interest in football, women’s sports, or Manchester City Football Club (the “Eligible Pool”).
5.2 From the Eligible Pool, twenty (20) winners will be selected at random.
5.3 The Organizer’s decision regarding eligibility and selection is final and binding. No correspondence or appeal will be entered into.
6. Notification of Winners
6.1 Winners will be notified by email and/or telephone within 7 days after the closing date of the Entry Period.
6.2 Winners must confirm acceptance of the prize within 2 days of notification.
6.3 If a winner does not respond within the specified period, the Organizer reserves the right to select an alternate winner from the Eligible Pool.
7. Participation in the Event
7.1 Winners agree to comply with all instructions of the Organizer, Manchester City Football Club, and Event staff during the Event.
7.2 The Organizer reserves the right to refuse participation to any winner who engages in inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive behavior.
7.3 Winners may be required to sign a liability waiver and/or health and safety acknowledgment prior to participation.
8. Publicity and License
8.1 By entering, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, voice, image, and any photographs or recordings made during the Event (“Recordings”) by the Organizer, Manchester City Football Club, and associated partners for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes, in any media worldwide, without additional compensation.
8.2 By entering the Competition, each participant grants to the Organizer, Manchester City Football Club, and associated partners a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license (with the right to sublicense) to use, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, modify, and communicate to the public the Recordings and any materials submitted by the participant in connection with the Competition. The license is granted for the purpose of promoting, marketing, and advertising the Competition, the Organizer, and its partners, in any media now known or later developed, for the duration of any intellectual property and personality rights subsisting in the Submitted Materials and Recordings. Participants represent and warrant that they hold all necessary rights to grant this license and that the use of the Submitted Materials and Recordings as permitted herein will not infringe the rights of any third party.
9. Liability
9.1 Winners participate in the Event at their own risk.
9.2 The Organizer, Manchester City Football Club, and their affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising out of or in connection with participation in the Competition or Event, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9.3 If the Event is cancelled for any reason, no fees, costs, or expenses shall be payable or reimbursable by the Organizer.
10. Organizer’s Rights
10.1 The Organizer reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Competition or the Event in whole or in part at any time, if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make such action unavoidable.
10.2 The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions or in a fraudulent or disruptive manner.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
11.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [insert country, e.g., Czech Republic].
11.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [insert city/country].
12. Data Protection
Key information on processing of participants’ personal data:
Data Controllers:
- The Organizer acts as the data controller for the processing of personal data necessary to administer and operate the Competition (including verifying eligibility, selecting and contacting winners, and fulfilling prizes).
- The Organizer, Manchester City Football Club, and associated partners (as identified in Competition promotion materials) act as individual data controllers for the processing of personal data in connection with (i) the use of the License granted under these Terms and (ii) the sending of promotional emails and marketing communications.
Purposes of Processing:
- Administration and operation of the Competition (Organizer only)
- Fulfillment and enforcement of the License granted under these Terms (Organizer and partners)
- Sending promotional emails and marketing communications from the Organizer and its partners, based on their legitimate interest in promoting their goods and services (Organizer and partners)
Recipients: Personal data may be shared with the Organizer’s partners and service providers to the extent necessary for the above purposes.
Retention: Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to carry out the Competition, enforce the License, and for subsequent marketing activities, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Rights of Participants: Participants may object at any time to the use of their personal data for direct marketing, and may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability as provided by applicable data protection law. Participants can opt out of receiving promotional emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in promotional emails or by sending a request to the respective data controller.
